THE PARTICLES . . . began as the brainchild of brothers/songwriters, Quinland Scott (keyboards and lead vocals) and Justin Arey (guitar and vocals). Jimmi Ward (bass) and Nathan Helms (drums) rounded out the band’s first iteration. With many years of experience on stage and in the studio, all of the band’s line ups ensure a professional, entertaining presentation of their material. Their release, ‘Inhumanity,’ produced by Grammy Award winner Johannes Luley (whose studio credits include Wonderlick, Mermen, Camouflage and Hopscotch), showcases the band’s musical prowess and the songwriting talent of the brothers. Influenced by artists such as Stone Temple Pilots, Incubus, and Oasis, The Particles achieve an intense, powerful sound, with hook laden songs and thought provoking lyrics that touch on contemporary issues. With the addition of Bob Hopkins [guitar], Mike Maier [bass], Matt Lucich [drums] and Anita Sounderrajin [backing vocals], the band’s follow up album ‘Burst’ was made with Grammy Nominated producer Adam Rossi, whose studio credits include San Francisco home town heroes Luce, mega-platinum selling duo Savage Garden, saxophonist Kenny G and Latin sensation Mark Anthony.
